Meet Coach Maren Glad

As a child, Maren struggled with school, repeating the first grade and scraping by with B’s and C’s; she felt that school was not meant for her. However, understanding the benefits of a college education, she made two failing attempts at earning a college degree. After five years of taking a break to become a mother, Maren decided to give college one more try. With the help of the BYU Pathway program, she gained the needed skills to become a successful college student. She became so successful that she began tutoring for several courses with BYU Idaho and BYU Pathway Worldwide, helping hundreds of students from around the world gain confidence in themselves and their abilities to obtain a college education. Graduating in April 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in Marriage and Family studies, along with completing her coaching certification with Christ Centered Coaches, Maren dreams of becoming a support for those with similar learning journeys and helping them become confident in their abilities to learn, grow, and progress to meet their potential.
